Poly sliders are designed specifically for polycarbonate or fibreglass sheeting. With the upper sliding clip positively screwed, in conjunction with a saddle washer to the sheeting, which in turn is clipped on the lower sliding rail, that is screwed on to the purlins along with the main base positioning bracket, to allow for the thermic movement of the sheeting i.e. 5mm/1m.

Secret Fix Roof Sheeting (Rib Cap)

(1/3) RIB CAP - (1 per RIB) Material: 0.6mm Z275 Galvanized sheeting 0.6mm Zincalume and Chromadek sheeting Degrees: 90º 95º 100º 110º 120º 125º 135º 145º 165º 180º

(2/3) These caps can be used in continuous lengths from eave to eave by cutting the ribs and bending the pans at the ridgeline. They are fitted over the cut ribs, which open up when the pans are bent. Fitting the rib caps can be time consuming and care must be taken with sealing, to avoid any possibility of leakage.

(3/3) The ribs must be cut squarely with a metal cutting blade in a power saw, set to the depth of the rib minus 2mm. It is essential to state the included angle, not just the roof pitch, when ordering these caps, as ridge and vertical caps are different angles.

(1/2) These sliders are required when installing polycarb or fibreglass sheeting. They allow for thermic expansion of up to 50mm. In conjuction with an IBR saddle washer. Polycarb thermic expansion = 5.0mm per/m.

(2/2) How to install: - The lower sliding rail is attached to the purlin with a class 3, (12x20mm) Tek screw. - The upper profiled section is then coupled to the rail. - The sheeting is then secured to the upper section in conjunction with a reinforced bonded saddle washer, with a class 3, 12x20mm Tek screw. Additionally a thermo saddle can be used if it is required that polycarb sheeting in conjunction with steel sheeting (next to), for additional light purposes to existing or new structures.

Universal Secret Fix Roofing Clips

(1/4) To suit: 700 and 410 width roof sheeting. These clips come in full length 700 clip with interlocking holes to maintain a consistent700mm or 410mm pitch thereby preventing "snaking" of roof sheeting. The clips also come in shorter more economical lengths which do not interlock for shorter spans of roof sheeting.

(2/4) These clips can now accommodate hex head fastening screws, when required for hot rolled or cold rolled perlings, without making contact with the roof sheeting therefore eliminating the risk of gouging or indentation of the sheeting. The lap locking upright of the clip has a greater depth of stiffening ribs and a nearer vertical stance to prevent bending when excessive downward pressure is applied to engage the roof sheeting.

(3/4) The central anchor support dimples, which are double thickness of metal also preventing screws pull through, are more deeply drawn allowing the clip far greater stability on any diameter of hot rolled tubular sections.
